Bio
With a background in math and physics, Bruce provides clients the right foundation to attain patent protection in a variety of complex technologies. In practice, Bruce prepares and prosecutes patent applications spanning such booming industries as e-commerce, semiconductor lasers, consumer electronics and more. Bruce also has experience drafting pre-litigation correspondence addressing patent owner’s rights, as well as employing his keen understanding of the nexus between patent prosecution and administrative law to draft strategically advantageous briefs and replies before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Before joining Lee & Hayes, Bruce was a science and mathematics teacher—honing valuable communication skills which he brings to bear in his clients’ counsel.
